Paul Hopkin, IIRSM’s Chairman, and Julie Silvester, Chief Executive, greeted Neil Budworth, President, Lisa Fowlie, President Elect and Rob Strange, Chief Executive of IOSH, at our London offices recently.  It was useful to catch up on developments and discuss the health and safety marketplace in general.

We also discussed POOSH (Professional Organisations in Occupational Safety and Health). This is an umbrella organisation that both our organisations have belonged to for many years now. Stephen Fulwell, our past representative on POOSH, has stepped down from IIRSM’s Board so Mike Welham has kindly agreed to attend these meetings in future to ensure that we have a presence along with the many other bodies who participate.
