Benefits for
members of a professional institute for health, safety and risk
management have been enhanced. The International Institute of
Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) Newsletter has been refocused
and redesigned to reflect comments from members.
The
newly-branded ‘IIRSM Newsletter’ will now be published twelve
times a year. Members will also receive the magazine Health and
Safety at Work (HSW) as part of their membership package.
The revised
IIRSM Newsletter will update members on IIRSM activities and the
latest news and developments throughout the UK and overseas.
The 16-page Newsletter will highlight relevant news and
legislation, it will also allow IIRSM’s members to share their
views and experiences with other members through letters,
articles and case studies.
The content
and its attractive and user-friendly design were well received
by a focus group of IIRSM members earlier in the summer.
Each month
IIRSM Members will also receive the HSW magazine which is
tailored for busy professionals. HSW covers the latest news on
regulatory developments and the ‘story behind the story’ on
topical issues.
Features in HSW explain how to
comply with new legislation, and best practice case studies will
provide inside knowledge from innovative organisations. The
magazine provides information critical to the smooth and safe
running of any organisation and helps to keep you up to date
with health and safety issues.
